How I see it:
The two miners are heading to the gates of heaven.
The guy who dances dies and the guy that fades away
is actually the old man from the ending ( who was dug
out and survived the accident ). As the old man says:
"they never found his body" ( Arthur's )

Miners used to bring canaries with them to detect carbon
monoxide.
When they stop singing it means that something is wrong.
( No air, to be more specific )

The canary is present in two key elements of the video.
Begining and ending.

today I got up very anxious to start studying. and no, I did not have a dream related to books or psychology or exams. in fact I didn't dream anything. but you don't need a particular reason to start studying on saturdays. it's just that ever since I was a kid weekend mornings were always ment for studying. ok I admit it... not really all weekend mornings :)
